All Shift at Midnight Endings
Shift at Midnight has three endings: Bad Ending, Normal Ending, and True Ending. The Bad Ending follows being killed by a doppelganger or letting a doppelganger go three consecutive times. The Normal Ending requires surviving seven shifts and clocking out normally on the final day, while the True Ending requires four hidden VHS tapes and a confrontation with the manager.
How Many Endings Are There?
Shift at Midnight has three endings in total. They are the Bad Ending, Normal Ending, and True Ending. The True Ending is named The Truth of the Station.
How to Get the Bad Ending
The Bad Ending occurs if a doppelganger kills you. It also occurs if you let a doppelganger go three consecutive times. Either condition triggers the Bad Ending.
How to Get the Normal Ending
The Normal Ending requires surviving seven shifts. On the final day, clock out normally. Completing both conditions triggers the Normal Ending.
Where to Find the Four VHS Tapes
During shifts on nights 3, 4, 5, and 6, search for four hidden VHS tapes. They are hidden in corners around areas such as the warehouse, restroom, and electrical room. All four tapes are required for the True Ending.
How to Get the Shift at Midnight True Ending
At the end of night 7, do not clock out. Carry the four VHS tapes to confront the manager. This unlocks the basement's hidden door and the True Ending, The Truth of the Station.
